You could pull it off.

「着こなす」は英語で「pull it off」と言います。

❶　元々「やり遂げる」「成し遂げる」という英語です。

たとえば

I can’t believe we pulled it off!
（本当にやり遂げるなんて驚きです！）

It’s an ambitious project. I hope we can pull it off.
（挑戦的なプロジェクトだ、成し遂げるといいね）

If we pull this off it’ll be an industry first.
（これを成功させれば、業界初になる）

 

❷　ファッションを「着こなす」という意味でも使います。

たとえば

You could pull it off.
（君なら着こなせるね）

It’s an interesting choice but she pulls it off quite well.
（変わったファッションだけど、上手に着こなしてます）

 

❸　さらに「it」の代わりに「動詞ing」も使えます。

たとえば

He pulls off being 50 quite well.
（50歳だけど、上手に年をとっている）

She pulled off singing the high notes perfectly.
（彼女は高音を完璧に歌いこなした）
