❶ 「先回りして対処する」「問題が大きくなる前に手を打つ」は英語で：

・get ahead of something

という表現を使います。

問題や状況が悪化する前に、事前に準備したり対策を講じたりするニュアンスです。

たとえば

We need to get ahead of this.
（この問題、早めに対処しないと）

Let’s get ahead of any potential issues.
（潜在的な問題に先回りして対策しよう）

The company is trying to get ahead of the scandal.
（会社はそのスキャンダルに先んじて対応しようとしている）

❷ 同じ「get ahead of」で、また別の使い方があります。

・get ahead of oneself

だと「先走る」という意味になります。

たとえば

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
（先走るのはやめよう）

We’re getting ahead of ourselves — we haven’t even started yet.
（まだ始まってもいないのに先走りしすぎだね）

Don’t get ahead of yourself. We’ll discuss that later.
（まだ早いよ。その話は後でしよう）

いい意味の「先回りする」も、悪い意味の「先走る」も「get ahead of」を使いますけど、続くもので区別します。
