交通事故の話になるとよく耳にする「急に現れた」「急に飛び出してきた」は英語では

「come out of nowhere」
「appear out of nowhere」

と言います。

直訳は「どこもない所から出てくる」ですが、英語ではこう言います。

そして、交通事故の話になるとこの英語が大体でます。

たとえば

I was driving down the street and this guy came out of nowhere.
（道路で運転していたら歩行者が急に飛び出してきた）

I was driving down the street and this taxi came out of nowhere.
（道路で運転していたらタクシーが急に出てきた）

・「nowhere」の面白い表現は他にも「in the middle of nowhere」もあります。

「"どこもない"の真ん中」という不思議な直訳ですが、「ど田舎」という意味で使います。

たとえば

He lives in the middle of nowhere.
（彼はど田舎に住んでいる）

I grew up in the middle of nowhere.
（ど田舎で育った）

It’s in the middle of nowhere.
（何もない所にある）
